but I am going to bet that the potential tenant is getting some mixed signals
its a real possibility that the owner will make the tenant uncomfortable
and its very likely the rental tour will turn into a home maintenance tour
and when the current owners life and possessions fill up the home
the tenant will feel that the owner is nowhere near ready to move out
most rental showings are fairly brief
and if the tenant likes the property
they will apply quickly and probably want to move in right away
which flies in the face of an owner that needs to pump the brakes
so that they have time to find a new place to live
and inevitably empty out the place and get it cleaned for the tenant
all in all, its a pretty clunky process most times
there is a better way to do this
